Environment day celebration

The Sacred Heart Girls Pre-University College celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and commitment on June 5, 2025, to raise awareness about environmental protection and sustainability among students and staff.

The program commenced with a warm introduction by the M.C, setting the tone for the day’s events and emphasizing the relevance of World Environment Day in today’s world. Following this, the audience was led into a serene and spiritual atmosphere with a soulful prayer song, invoking blessings for a greener and healthier planet.

The next highlight was an enlightening speech on the importance of Environment Day, delivered by a student. The speech focused on pressing environmental issues such as deforestation, climate change, and pollution, and called for collective action to preserve nature for future generations.

A creative and thought-provoking skit titled “Earth vs Humanity” was performed by the students, depicting the deteriorating relationship between humans and nature. The powerful message and engaging performance left a strong impact on the audience, urging them to introspect and act responsibly towards the environment.

The Principal’s address was inspiring and motivating. She appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty in organizing the event and emphasized the importance of integrating eco-friendly practices into daily life. Her words encouraged everyone to take small but meaningful steps toward environmental conservation.

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of all participants and staff who made the celebration a success. The celebration ended on a proud and unifying note with the rendition of the college anthem.
