Report on English Literary Club Fest – 2025

The English Literary Club of Sacred Heart Girls’ PU College organized its annual Literary Fiesta from 10th to 13th September 2025. A series of off-stage events were conducted, including Slogan Writing, Essay Writing, Pick and Speak, and Spell Bee, along with exciting new additions this year such as Lit Reels and Mono Act, which drew enthusiastic participation from students.
The grand inaugural ceremony was held on 13th September, marked by the much-anticipated on-stage event “Page to Stage.” The fest was graced by our Chief Guest, Dr. Deepa B. M., Principal of Sacred Heart Degree College for Women, whose inspiring message encouraged students to explore literature beyond textbooks. Our beloved Principal, Rev. Sr. Janet Sudha, also addressed the gathering with her words of guidance and blessings.
The celebration began with a prayer song, followed by a welcome dance and the lighting of the lamp. Students showcased their creativity through dramatic performances, cultural presentations, and competitions that celebrated the power and beauty of language.
The program concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners and a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, bringing to a close a vibrant and memorable celebration of literature.
