II PUC ORIENTATION-2023

Investiture ceremony was held in our college on Saturday, 2nd July 2022 Mrs. Suhasini Chandrasekar M.sc, Performance and Transformation NPI Specialist, HP was the Chief Guest of the day. The programme was presided by Rev.SR. Janet Sudha. We began the ceremony with a prayer song sung by the college choir. Mrs. Nisha Lecturer in Physics welcomed the dignitaries and the gathering. Student’s Council members were led in March past in order to show their discipline and order. They assembled together on the stage .It conveyed the message that they do their responsibility with the team spit. They were induced by the chief guest and principal. All senior lecturers were called to assist them, the chief guest was our college alumina and also was the student of Arts in the year 2000. She herself stood as an example and addressed to the students. She also encouraged the students with self-belief and self-motivation. Finally concluded her speech with ‘Never give up at any situation’. Followed by Chief Guest address our respected principal motivated students with parameters to be successful leaders both in college as well as in the society. The program concluded with National Anthem.

“Sound mind in a sound day” keeping that in mind Yoga day was observed in our college on June 21 2022. Mr. Vignesh and Mr. Vishwesh Hatha Yoga Teachers certified by AYUSH department of India was the resource person. A warm welcome was given by Mr. David. Rev. Sr Janet Sudha honored them with the flower pots. They defined what is Yoga “Yoga is union with the God”. Students were taught warm up exercise. Surya Namaskar and Asas. Students were instructed to do it every day  that they improve their immunity and keep themselves fit as tiddle, healthy and hale, strong and sturdy. Mr. Vincent Paul lecturer in English proposed Vote of Thanks.

Holy mass was organized by Sacred Heart Girls’  PU College on 1st July 2022.  Students also participated in the mass and received blessings of the Holy Spirit. Rev. Fr.Chinappa , Parish Priest. (St Thomas Church), Jeevanbhima nagar celebrated the mass and insisted on these three things to the students while praying  “ASK! PRAY! LISTEN!”.

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and knowledge of the holy one is understanding” “Fresher’s day in any college is an event which every student awaits from their time of admission. The 20th of June 2022 was a memorable day in the life of every fresher of I PUC batch 2022-23 at college auditorium. Fresher’s day was filled with excitement, joy, music, enthusiasm, laughter and happiness. Events started with Prayer song and welcome dance followed by Theme dance on Women empowerment by II PUC students. Later I PUC students given chance to explore their talents. Our beloved Principal motivated our students with her powerful speech. Along with all the staff members and program in-charge ,all the events went on well  

I PUC Orientation Programme was organized on Thursday (23 JUNE 2022) Afternoon session. It was organized by Mrs.Jayashree , Mr.David and Mrs.Nutan. Resource persons were Rev.Sr.Janet Sudha, Mrs.Jayashree, Mrs.Nutan ,Mr.Antony David and Mrs.Asha. Mr.David began the session with action song and he spoke about nature and nurture aspect of human mind and motivated them to set their goal for the academic year. Respectively, Mrs.Nutan grasped the attention of the students by the motivational topic” Super tips for successful students”. Subsequently, Mrs.Jayashree had explained the College rules and regulations and made them also enrich the self-discipline following the same. Finally, Mrs.Asha has given them inspirational story to make them be a strongest woman in future.  

II PUC Orientation was organized on Thursday 23rd June 2022.Rev.Fr. Maria Anand SDB, was the resource person of the day. After the Welcome address Rev.Sr.Janet sudha honored Father with the sapling as a token of love. Father had made students to understand their capability by showing some motivational clips. All the students were appreciated by the resource person for their heart rendering team work. He has concluded with seven parameters to become successful person in life. All the students were benefited with the orientation. Whole program was vibrant and realistic.  

Prayer service was conducted on the theme “75th Independence day (“Nation first ,Always first) by II PCMB & PCMC under the guidance of the class mentor Mrs.Nisha. The programme began with prayer song later on patriotic song sung by our students. There were many fabulous performances performed by them. Chief guest address given by our Respected Rev.Sr.Janet sudha, Sr addressed the gathering with a beautiful message that stated “ we have to fight for our struggle and freedom in all the circumstances of students day today life to succeed” . Finally Programme ended by playing National Anthem.

4th February 2023 Blessing of the Third Floor Extension of our college building It was indeed a special morning for all of us the management , staff , students and parents of SHGPUC as occasion draw unparallel enthusiasm in us as we witnessed a harmonious blending of the college with the home and the society. Provincial superior Rev Mother Joyce Teresia SSAM inaugurated the new block by cutting the ribbon. Rev Fr D Chinnappa Parish priest St. Thomas church HAL lead the ceremony of blessing through prayer service and later he blessed the interior of the classroom by sprinkling the holy water.

SHGPUC’s 28th Graduation Day marked another milestone. Graduation day is more than just a customary .It is the day of celebration when we laud all the hardwork put in by our students and teacher’s effort that have helped our students emerge as successful graduates . The event began with a prayer dance. The event was presided over by the chief guest Sri. A.Anandraj, Honourable Deputy Director , Department of Pre-University Education, Bangalore South and the Guest of Honour Smt.Shamala Jogaiah.S, Principal , Sir M.V .PU College, Konena Agrahara, Bangaluru. Graduates were then administered the oath and they promised to work for better world

9th International Yoga Day International Yoga day was celebrated with full spirit and joy in Sacred heart girl’s PU College. A sum of 100-150 students demonstrated Surya Namaskar , various asanas of yoga showing strength of yoga and the flexibility on doing it.

II PUC ORIENTATION (9TH JUNE 2023) II puc orientation programme was organized on Friday, 9th june 2023 . Rev.Fr.John Sanjay SDB, was the resource person of the day as well. Father had motivated our students by organizing and conducting various group activities.
